These are just some of the beautiful scenes in Noosa. I took the photos last time I was there.

When school breaks up for the year this year I’m hoping that I’ll be heading up the Pacific Highway, all the way to Queensland’s Sunshine Coast which is about ninety minutes north of Brisbane. It is here that my most favourite holiday spot can be found – Noosa!

My family and I have been going to Noosa for holidays ever since I was a baby. Its very special to my brother and I who love to talk about the various holidays we’ve had there.

Noosa is a beautiful place. It has a great beach where you can often see dolphins swimming by. It also has a beautiful National Park where if you are lucky you can see Koalas in the trees as you walk by. My family and I love to walk through the park in the early morning before it gets too hot.

I take my camera with me to take photos of various things. Noosa has a beautiful river called the Hastings. I love to sit on the balcony and stare at it; especially at sunset. I’ve taken photos of the river at sunset (see attached). It really is gorgeous.

When we go to Noosa we sometimes stay at the very luxurious Sheraton Hotel. We escpecially like it there because it has a bar in the pool where you can swim up and buy ice-creams. You don’t even have to leave the pool to eat it! You just sit on one of the stools in the water around the bar and hope that you never have to leave.

The Sheraton isn’t the only place with great ice-cream in Noosa. Each night when we are on holidays my brother and I head down to an ice-cream shop called Massimos. The ice-cream from Massimos is heavenly. My brother and I only have two problems when  we go there; firstly, deciding which flavour to have and secondly knowing that all too soon the ice-cream will be gone.

I always feel sad when our holiday comes to an end and it’s time to return home. I usually have to make do with the photos I have taken and my memories until the next time when we get to do it all again.
