The Art Gallery

Yesterday my class and I visited the art gallery. At the moment there are paintings there that Claud Oscar Monet himself painted. These paintings are amazing and it’s amazing to see all the details and little strokes that he has done to get this wonderful effect. All the tiny little strokes must have taken him ages to do and from a distance it all just bends in together. Also when you get up really close you can see that there are many different coulers all mixed together, in the water which from a distance looks blue you can see that he has mixed in little tiny bits of pink and all kinds of colours. This is one of the things that make his pictures so realistic. I got to see the haystacks which were so beautiful and one of his most realistic paintings.The haystacks were in a field near his house and he painted 27 differant versions. I love all his paintings soooo much that I honestly can’t decide which one I like the best. Monet was such a talent and I don’t know how anyone could paint this well.I loved looking at all his paintings and I learnt a lot about some of his paintings. In some of them he only used the colours of the rainbow and it was all blended in and was so beautiful and you wouldn’t even notice that those are the only colours used! If you haven’t gone to see these paintings I think it is definitely worth it and you really should go. Go Monet!!!
